Broadcasting & Campaigns

Reach many contacts at once. Campaigns let you send WhatsApp, SMS and Email messages to a targeted audience, with scheduling, AI assistance and full delivery tracking.

Location: Campaigns (/app/broadcasts/campaigns)

Creating a campaign

The campaign wizard walks you through it step by step:

  1. Choose a channel — WhatsApp, SMS or Email.
  2. Pick your audience — a segment, a tag, a contact list, or an uploaded CSV. Use Audience Preview to see exactly who will receive it.
  3. Compose your message:
    • WhatsApp — select an approved template and fill in its variables.
    • SMS — write your text (a provider must be configured — see below).
    • Email — write a subject and body; use the AI assistant to generate the body or improve the subject line.
  4. Schedule — send now or pick a date and time.
  5. Review and launch.

Save as draft & test send

  • Save as draft to finish later.
  • Test send to deliver the campaign to yourself first and check how it looks.

Managing campaigns

  • Launch a campaign immediately.
  • Pause a scheduled or running campaign.
  • Edit a draft.
  • Delete campaigns you no longer need.
  • View a campaign's details and performance.

Delivery & tracking

Every recipient's status is tracked (queued, sent, delivered, read, failed). Campaign messages are also mirrored into your Inbox, so if a contact replies, it appears as a normal conversation — giving you one unified view of every interaction.

See full analytics in Reports.

Sending channels — what you need

ChannelRequirement
WhatsAppA connected number and an approved template. See WhatsApp.
SMSAn SMS provider configured (below).
EmailYour own email server (below).

Email server

Location: Campaigns → Email Server (/app/broadcasts/email-server)

Configure your own SMTP so email campaigns send from your domain:

  1. Enter your SMTP host, port, username, password and from-address.
  2. Test it.
  3. Save.

See Email/SMTP integration.

SMS providers

Location: Campaigns → SMS Gateways (/app/broadcasts/sms-gateways)

Connect an SMS provider to send SMS campaigns. Supported providers include Twilio, Vonage (Nexmo), MessageBird and several regional gateways. Enter your provider's credentials and you're ready to send. See SMS integration.

Plan limits

Campaigns, SMS and email sends count against your plan's monthly limits. If you hit a limit you'll be prompted to upgrade. See Billing.

Respect opt-ins

Campaigns automatically skip contacts who haven't opted in. Keep your lists clean and consent-based — WhatsApp in particular enforces strict quality and opt-in rules.

➡️ Next: automate replies with AI chatbots.
