Leads

The Leads tool helps you find new business prospects by searching Google Places — pull in businesses by type and location, then turn the best ones into contacts you can message.

Scraping leads

  1. Go to Leads.
  2. Enter a search — a business type and a location (e.g. "dentists in Austin, TX").
  3. Run the scrape.

WhatsMine queries Google Places and returns matching businesses with their name, address, phone, website and rating. Duplicate places are skipped automatically.

Requires Google Places

Lead scraping needs a Google Places API key configured by your platform administrator. See Google integration.

Working with leads

The results appear in a paginated, sortable table. From here you can:

  • Push to contacts — convert selected leads into contacts so you can message or campaign them.
  • Delete leads you don't want.

From lead to conversation

A typical workflow:

  1. Scrape a list of target businesses.
  2. Push the promising ones to contacts.
  3. Tag them (e.g. outreach-q3) and add them to a segment.
  4. Run a campaign or an automation to reach out.

Plan limits

The number of leads you can scrape per month is set by your plan. See Billing.

Use responsibly

Always follow local marketing and privacy regulations (and WhatsApp's opt-in rules) when contacting businesses you've sourced. Cold outreach without consent can hurt your sender reputation and may breach platform policies.
